DAVID R. SHEPHERD

David brings over thirty years of experience in Christian publishing to his GBI leadership roles, along with another 15-plus years in public relations and marketing. During his time with LifeWay Christian Resources, he served in the trade book and Bible division, Broadman & Holman, as marketing manager, Bible publisher, and then publisher for all product lines. He initiated and shepherded the Holman Christian Standard Bible translation project as its executive editor. David is ordained in the Anglican Church of North America as a vocational deacon and lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Cherie, of nearly fifty years. They are the parents of eight children and grandparents to 19 grandchildren.
