​When we’re doing ministry, we love crowds. More people means greater impact, right? Not necessarily. Jesus drew crowds, but his disciples were often mystified by his seeming disregard for them. Once, after multiplying the loaves and fish, the crowd was ready to make him king. Jesus walked away. Even his brothers didn’t understand his aversion
